All regular meetings are held in the game room at The Sentry Box bookstore, 1835 - 10th Ave. SW, 7:00 PM, the first Thursday of every month. Those interested in joining IFWA can simply drop in to a meeting. You must go through the back door, as the store closes at 6:00 PM. If the door is locked, please knock.

Meetings are sometimes preceded by 50 minutes of skills development (beginning at 6:00 PM). During the meeting, IFWA business is discussed and one or two pieces of writing are critiqued. Time permitting, writerly discussion or 15 minutes of exercises are held at the conclusion of each meeting.

If you arrive during readings, please wait until readers are finished before moving furniture. The readers are bravely letting us listen to their work and their ability to deliver a good presentation can be affected if their concentration, or that of the audience, is distracted by late arrivals.
